The concept of nontraditional contemporary café and gallery was a hideout in the shelter arm of mother earth. The Café’s interior reflects the contemporary yet vernacular ambiance with classical Tuscan theme. The send of affection is depicted through the vernacular thatched roof with bamboo at the form of concrete structure. It not only pleases the eyes, yet it creates an aesthetics of the space. The shelter of peace is achieved by using of roman arch windows, colorful vines and gabled rustic elements of design are used. The walkway from entrance is followed by the sound of water ripples creates the curiosity and the music of nature. The crumbled stone cladding on the walls with and sturdy furnishings with elegant iron accent gives a sense of calmness through the design. The wall treatments are simple yet elegant using rich golden teak veneer as a wainscot. The use of multiple classy external seating’s with wall hanged umbrellas gives a trendy look. However, the most interesting element of the house is the play of pools as the feature element for the art gallery. The comfort and interesting formation of patterns bring drama and the dance of shadows which complements the art work in the basement. The design not only fulfilled the dream experience for the client but also the quality was not compromised.
